Giga Electrical is the best. The staff at this Training Centre cares about the progress of their trainees. No one is left behind; we were all encouraged to excel. They created the window of opportunity for us to succeed. I entered the class about eight weeks after the course began. One question I asked, "could I pass this exam? Miss Gordon responded; do you have common sense. I simply laughed and told her that she would see me next week. After fifteen minutes, on the first day of class, I wanted to quit. The Instructor, Mr. Sankar looked at me and said, I will lead you to success. I had no prior background in the Electrical Field. With the help of the Instructors at Giga Electrical, I excelled in both Theory and Practical. I attained distinctions in the two written components of the City and Guilds Examination and passed the practical assessments. Today I am proud to say that I am a licensed wireman. I would like to thank Ms. Gordon who was instrumental in preparing me for the wireman license examination, Mr. Mc Clean for motivation and practical training and Mr. Sankar for the theorical knowledge. This serves to testify that I had been a past trainee of Giga Electrical and Engineering Services during the period September 2005 and June 2006. At that time, Giga Electrical was not yet an approved City & Guilds Centre, I was aware of that but I joined the classes because of the credibility and capability of their Instructors. I wrote the exam as an external candidate to another Centre and I was very pleased with the results. I obtained my City & Guilds International Vocational Qualification, which is recognized globally. Subsequently, I was successful in the Electrical Inspectorate examination and was awarded with the Wireman's License. I would recommend anyone who is seeking training of the highest quality to enroll with Giga Electrical and Engineering Services. Their very competent Instructors are always willing to meet you at your levels, to ensure that you reach your maximum potential. The training I received was excellent both hands-on and theoretical, it has been extremely beneficial and contributed towards propelling my career as a successful electrician.

I met Ms. Gordon when she was an Electrical Inspector and I was just a freelancing electrician at the time. She was so impressed with my performance that she encouraged me to get my wireman's license. I attended classes at Giga Electrical and I am so happy I took that decision. They had an easy payment plan that made the programme affordable for persons like me. The Instructor Mr. Sankar did an exceptional job, he did not only teach me to pass the exam but he ensure that I had a good understanding of the topics. I passed the City and Guilds exam with distinctions and I obtained my Diploma. I did preparation classes with Ms. Gordon for the wireman's license. I now have a good understanding of the Electrical wiring codes, load details, cable selection, transformers to name a few. When I went to the Electrical Inspectorate to do the Wireman's License Exam out of approximately thirty-two candidates, I was the only one successful in the Exam. Some of them were making their third and fourth attempt but I passed in my very first try. Since I got my Wireman's License, I have jobs in the Prison, Army, Children's Authority, contracts with Real Estate Developers. I am in a position where I have to turn down work or pass on to other electricians who do not have work. I now have the ability to dialogue with people at different levels on the job because I am more technically literate. In fact, I had reason to make corrections to errors made by the electrical engineer on one of my jobs. I am very pleased to have attended classes at Giga Electrical. I would like to thank Mr. Mc Clean, Ms. Gordon and Mr. Sankar for their input. The experience has been life changing for my career. I have elevated to Licensed Electrical Contractor. I would like to encourage electricians to follow in my footstep because opportunities for Licensed Wireman in this country is in demand.

I have only good words to say about GIGA ELECTRICAL & ENGINEERING SERVICES. If I can be successful with a distinction to add to my qualifications, anybody can. Having said that, I came from nothing to something. My history begins like this; I left secondary school with a low reading ability and spelling which deprived me of a good education for a long time. I was very hesitant to study anything or do any course, but I gave this Training Centre a chance and I never regretted it. I was surprised on the first day of class by the ways and strategies they used to explain the work. For example, the introduction to electrical installation. When I thought I knew about electrical work my eyes were opened to a completely new and interesting way of seeing how the work can be made so much easier by just understanding how it can be simplified into a few easy steps. They made the whole course simple to understand. The atmosphere, the instructors and staff they were all very friendly and can always offer the best solution to your problems. They brought the theory course into a practical format, which therefore, helped me to excel in the class. It shocked me to see for the first time in my life, that I can be one of the top trainees in my class, coming out with a distinction. The training I received helped to prepare me for my Wireman Licence. Prior to that, I failed miserably to even attempt to write the exam. I, therefore, recommend this Training Centre to anyone who wishes to be a part of excellence in their further endeavours at any age.
